Sue Welch, Chief Executive Officer      Twitter TradeStone Blog

Sue Welch, founder and CEO of TradeStone Software, is an established leader in designing technology for retailers and suppliers involved in global sourcing and private label initiatives. Ms. Welch's passion for all things retail is reflected in TradeStone's innovative approach to developing a Merchandise Lifecycle Management infrastructure to support collaboration among retailers and their partners as they design, source, produce and deliver exciting and differentiated merchandise collections to the store floor.

In addition to leading TradeStone, Welch is a frequent speaker on global sourcing addressing such organizations as the World Trade Organization, the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade, the ICC and the National Retail Federation. She has been celebrated for her innovation in the industry by such publications as Fortune and World Trade Magazine, in which she was named as one of the 50 most influential executives.

 

Ann Diamante, Chief Product Officer   Twitter

As Chief Product Officer, Ann Diamante oversees TradeStone's MLM suite of products. She is also part of the executive team involved in the development of the company's international finance reconciliation software.

Diamante has an extensive background in the retail industry, having held diverse executive positions in retail merchandising, private label development and operations for some of the largest retailers in the U.S.

Prior to joining TradeStone, Diamante directed the worldwide development and services teams at RockPort Trade Systems and QRS Corp, where she was responsible for the development and deployment of the dominant sourcing and supply application used by Fortune 500 companies.

 

Kamal Anand, Chief Technology Officer

Kamal Anand, chief technology officer, leads the company's product development and technology strategy. Anand plays an instrumental role in ensuring TradeStone builds quality products that are differentiated and aligned with market opportunities.

Prior to joining TradeStone, Anand was the director of new products at QRS Corporation. At QRS, he was responsible for the development of the QRS sourcing applications used by some of the world's leading retailers to manage their complex global supply chain. Anand has extensive experience in software development with a primary focus on enterprise systems related to supply chain and global sourcing. His areas of expertise include software development methodologies, object-oriented design, Web services and Internet technologies, distributed processing and relational database systems.

Anand graduated with a M.S. from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Technology from the Institute of Technology BHU, Varanasi, India.

 

Tim O'Brien, Chief Financial Officer

Tim O'Brien, CFO, leads the company's financial and accounting functions. He is a certified public accountant with more than 10 years of financial, operational management and technical accounting experience in the technology industry. O'Brien plays a critical role in building the financial and internal control infrastructure to support the growth of TradeStone. His primary focus is on managing cash flows of the business operations, ensuring compliance with domestic and international regulations, as well as providing strategic financial planning and operational guidance.

Prior to joining TradeStone, O'Brien was a Corporate Controller for Applix, Inc., a publicly-held software company, where he managed the accounting and financial functions and led its Sarbanes-Oxley compliance implementation. Prior to Applix, he served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche, where he planned, supervised and executed audit engagements for a diverse client base, ranging from privately-funded start-up technology companies to public SEC registrants.

O'Brien graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Babson College.

 

Alan E. Gold, Chief Marketing Officer   Twitter

Alan E. Gold, CMO, leads the company's marketing, social media and business development strategies. He is a career marketer with many years’ of experience as an executive in software, hardware and other technology companies spanning many industries in North America, Europe, Asia-Pac and Latin America. Gold has a successful track record of improving visibility, expanding market awareness and growing revenue in public and private companies such as Excelon, Avotus Corporation, MarketMAX, and Symbol Technologies. He is an expert in strategy, e-marketing and social media and has been, over the years, a frequent speaker and has been published on topics relating to new technology integration, business process improvement, and thinking outside the box.

He enjoys spending time with his horse, his family, the arts, and of course, the Red Sox (but not necessarily in that order). Alan resides with his family north of Boston.

Gold has an M.B.A from Boston College and a B.A . from Brandeis University.

 

Chirag Patel, President Americas

As President of the Americas, Patel leads TradeStone's sales and professional services organizations to meet the needs of the Company's rapidly growing prospect and customer base throughout North, South and Latin America.

Patel, a 10-year veteran of merchandising and supply chain technologies previously served as Senior Vice President of Professional Services for TradeStone where he successfully grew revenue and team size by more than 150% while ensuring quality delivery of TradeStone's solutions. Patel also defined new business development strategies to introduce innovative methods for services that delivered rapid implementation of TradeStone's modeled software solutions for apparel, footwear and hardlines retailers and brand companies.

Prior to TradeStone Patel held management positions at Manhattan Associates' (Evant) Advanced Planning and Replenishment Solutions, IBM Global Consulting Services and The Summit Group. Patel earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from University of Kentucky and an M.B.A from Georgia State University.

 

Brian Marsden, President EMEA     Twitter

As President of EMEA, Brian Marsden is responsible for customer satisfaction, sales, channel development and alliances in TradeStone's rapidly growing European, Middle-East , African and Asia -Pacific regions. In addition to his EMEA roles Marsden works closely with the TradeStone leadership teams to support a cohesive Global strategy.

Marsden is a recognised International executive with significant experience in both the retail and supply chain technology sectors previously heading both on-premise and SaaS (Software as a Service) solution providers. He has worked with many leading international Retailers and Manufacturers to deploy high impact, collaborative supply chain solutions that support global user adoption across geographic, industry and cultural boundaries.

With more than 30 years of experience, Marsden has held senior executive positions at Wesupply, QRS, Rockport Trade Systems, Manugistics, Software 2000, Dun and Bradstreet Software, and Management Science America (MSA).

 

Chris Morrison, Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas

As Senior Vice President of Sales, Chris Morrison drives the sales teams’ strategy and execution. Morrison plays a key role in managing the growing demand from the retail market for TradeStone’s award-winning Merchandise Lifecycle Management solutions and unified buying approach.

Prior to TradeStone, Morrison served in numerous roles in sales, marketing and product management at Oracle Retail. During his tenure at Oracle, Morrison had global responsibility for Oracle Retail’s advanced planning and supply chain suite – expanding the footprint in terms of product offerings and market coverage.

Previously, he held senior level roles in sales, product management and consulting at ProfitLogic and i2 Technologies. Morrison holds an MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
