TradeStone's Showroom Module contains robust functionality for product managers, buyers, merchants and manufacturers alike:
Product managers can quickly create a Line List for a particular collection or season based on the initial RFQ pricing. This line list includes an image of the item, style description, color, available shipment packs, as well as the vendor first cost, ELC, and an owned-at price. The data can be summarized by flow, by floor set ID, by class, sub-class, or master item.
A critical piece of information available to the Product Manager is the mark-up percentage for each item in the line. This early visibility to the mark-ups is available by product category, class, sub-class, etc. based on customer commitments and changes to customer commitments. On the fly adjustments to the margin spread is key to collection profitability and shaping the right SKU mix.
The Showroom itself is a secure online workspace accessible to local buyers and internal customers. Inviting local retail buyers and merchants to a Collection Review within the Showroom, allows them to select pieces, as well as attributes (cuts, colors, sizes, packaging) from a general collection so they can create local brand extensions of private labeled merchandise.
Through the Showroom Detail, the buyer has access to the entire collection which has been prepared specifically for him/her. The buyer has a description of the style, style number, color, cost, and available ship packs. The buyers requested quantities are summarized for the specific sell channel. And summaries exist for floor set ID, class, subclass, and master item. The buyer has powerful filtering abilities within the summary and detail sections, allowing him/her to focus on specific items very quickly.
The Showroom Module plays a critical role in collection refinement and ordering speed.
