30-Year Industry Veteran to Lead Global Sales and Marketing Expansion
Gloucester, Mass., March 3, 2008 -- TradeStone Software, the retail industry's leading provider of private label and global sourcing solutions, today announced it has named Brian Marsden President of TradeStone Software. As President, Marsden will be responsible for the Company's global sales and marketing expansion. His strong strategic background will help guide TradeStone into the next phase of growth as the company continues to expand its reach in the Americas and abroad.
Marsden also brings to TradeStone a wealth of international supply chain experience. Prior to joining the Company, Marsden was CEO of Wesupply.com, a UK headquartered, On Demand (SaaS) supply chain management company. Under his leadership, Wesupply's customer base grew to more than 350 international companies, supporting more than 50,000 global trading relationships that operated throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. In addition to setting the company's vision, Marsden helped deliver innovative new approaches to business-to-business communication, sales, collaboration and community management in the SaaS sector.

This is the second time Marsden and CEO Sue Welch have teamed up, having worked together previously at Rockport Trade Systems. Prior to Rockport, Marsden served as Senior Vice President of Manugistics' Strategic Business Unit in Europe. He has also held senior management positions at Software 2000, Datalogix International and Dun and Bradstreet Software.
