Gloucester, Mass., August 18, 2004 — TradeStone Software, a pioneering leader in collaborative e-sourcing software, today announced the appointment of Keith Taylor as Vice President of Sales for Europe. The announcement comes at a time of rapid domestic and European growth for TradeStone. Taylor was tapped to spearhead the company's European sales efforts as TradeStone's SteppingStones meets increasing market adoption in the European markets.
"Keith joins TradeStone at a pivotal moment in our development, as we begin to deliver our e-sourcing solution to the European market in a very decisive way," said Sue Welch, President and CEO of TradeStone Software. "Keith will be a valuable member of our management team in many ways. He's a seasoned executive with a track record of sales success with major European retailers, including Argos, Selfridges and John Lewis in the UK and KarstadtQuelle in Germany. Keith is also skilled at forging successful partnerships with major consultancies like IBM and Accenture, has an enviable network of retail contacts throughout Europe, and has been highly successful at selling to the board level in the retail vertical."
Keith is likewise pleased to be joining the TradeStone team. "When I first saw a demonstration of TradeStone's SteppingStones collaborative e-sourcing software, I grasped its intrinsic value to the European retailers I've worked with throughout my career. I'm delighted to be working with a sourcing pioneer and visionary like Sue Welch, and with the entire TradeStone management team. Together we'll redefine the way international trade is conducted and expand TradeStone's global footprint."
Before joining TradeStone Software, Keith served as Vice President of Sales at the Information Management Group, where he delivered a fourfold increase in client acquisition rates and played a key role in the successful establishment of a software division. Before that, he was European Sales Director for QRS where he was responsible for delivering some of the largest application contracts at the company.
